Meet Open Doors founders Ruth and Hugo Tschudin and the reason behind Dogfest - Jessie!

________________________________
It's our 5th annual Dogfest, a
fabulous day of fun for families with dogs, and a unique opportunity for adoptable pets to find their way into the hearts and homes of people who will love and appreciate them.

We're once again at the newly-renovated park in Westwood that connects with Brookside, a popular county park, via a marvelous paved walkway through the cool, shady forest. The Brookside part has tennis courts, ball fields, pavilions, a playground, and a lovely lake.

Westvale Park has ballfields, a playground, and a set of doggy playgrounds, one for large dogs and one for small dogs.

Everything else remains the same: Guest speakers, adoptable dogs, great vendors and our fun 'n' games for the visiting dogs.
And some very special guests!

Ruth, Hugo and Jessie, who now live in West Palm Beach, FL, and have this message for all dog lovers: Don't miss this year's Dogfest! Your support and good will mean the world to all of us, both two- and four-legged!!

She reveals both shocking and hopeful information in her hot-off-the-press book, Little Boy Blue: A Puppy's Rescue from Death Row and His Owner's Journey for Truth. A must-read for all animal lovers.

Kim and Blue also invite you to Dogfest 2013, a very special day for for all attending, and for all helped by the money and awareness raised.

Meet Karen Talbot LaSasso

Founder of  Animal Aid USA and Organizer of the Amazing Grace Caravan that was recently shared on the TV News, star of documentary Take Me Home.
